Carlton Academy Trust is celebrating another strong year of GCSE results, with students across its secondary schools achieving excellent outcomes and making significant progress across a broad range of subjects.
Behind every result is a story of ambition, resilience and hard work. This year’s results reflect the dedication of students, families and staff across the Trust, with schools celebrating some of their strongest outcomes yet.
Celebrating success across our schools
At Carlton Bolling, students have achieved the school’s best-ever English Language results, with performance now exceeding the national average and more students securing the highest grades than ever before. Humanities has continued to improve, while Modern Foreign Languages has seen significant growth, particularly in French. Construction, Health & Social Care and Child Development have also achieved their best-ever results, providing students with valuable qualifications and strong foundations for their future pathways.
At Carlton Keighley, this year’s results represent the school’s best ever overall results. Sustained improvements in English and Maths mean more students than ever are achieving Grade 4+ and Grade 5+ in these core subjects. Results have also improved across Science, the Arts and Humanities, with overall attainment reaching its highest-ever level. The number of students achieving the very highest grades has increased too, including more Grade 7+ results and an increase in Grade 9s across all subjects.
At Oulton Academy, students are celebrating their best ever Maths and Science results, alongside continued improvement across key measures. The number of students achieving the highest grades has increased across all subjects, while the school is also celebrating a projected zero NEET figure for the third consecutive year, reflecting the strong destinations secured by its young people as they move on to their next steps.
Looking to the future
While GCSE results are an important milestone, at Carlton Academy Trust we are equally proud of the progress and personal journeys behind them. Our students have demonstrated determination, resilience and ambition throughout their secondary education, and we are delighted to see them now taking their next steps.
