New community sports club launched at Carlton Bolling

Carlton Bolling is proud to be the home of a brand-new community-based sports club, supporting a project that not only inspires young people to thrive in sport but also strengthens community spirit across BD3.

Undercliffe Sports Club has kicked off with an Under-14 football team and a netball team, both made up entirely of local players and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.

The football team will take to the pitch this Sunday for their very first fixture in the Aire, Craven and Wharfe League. After weeks of training and preparation, the squad is ready to put their hard work into action and represent their community with pride.

The netball team is also gearing up for a busy year ahead, with friendly matches and tournaments planned. The team is now focused on growing player numbers and securing a Level 2 qualified coach to support their development.

A special thank you goes to the Bradford Fire Station Community Fund, who have generously donated £500 to the club. This contribution has provided brand-new playing kits for both teams, giving them a professional look as they embark on their sporting journey.

Undercliffe Sports Club, with Carlton Bolling School as its home, is proof of what can be achieved when a community comes together. With passionate volunteers, talented young players, and strong local support, the future looks bright.

Here’s wishing both teams the very best of luck for the season ahead!

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
